Scott's Family in Town

Last Monday Scott's family were on their way home from visiting Grandma and Grandpa Jim in Oregon so they stopped by as they were passing through. We went to this fun park in Meridian and had a great time for the few hours they were here.

I Love to see the Temple

We went down to the Twin Falls Temple Open house either last week or the week before. I can't remember now. It was a fun little day trip. Every time we drive to the grocery store we pass the temple and Katie freaks out. She usually sees it before the rest of us and she just starts saying over and over again temple, temple. So we thought it would be good if she could go inside the temple. She loved it. She was always pointing at things and getting so excited. And it amazed me when we went in the celestial room because she got all quiet. We really enjoyed going together as a family. Here are a couple pictures from the experience.

Good Deals and Good Times

Okay, so life keeps plugging along, here is what you have missed...
There is this store called Other Mothers here in Boise, I know that there is one in Spokane, but I don't know where another one is. Anyway every month the last Friday and Saturday of the month they have a 25 cent sale. This is when I get Katie and Paul clothes. Last month I just happened to hit the jackpot. Over 30 items...and I only got charged $7.95 for the lot of it.
Now don't think that these are junk clothes. The thing that you have to remember is not to buy it unless it's quality. So in that pile of clothes is a Baby Gap winter coat, a few pairs of baby gap pants, gymboree jumper, a children's place dress...the list goes on. It is a great sale, bad picture of the clothes but a great sale.
Here is my jackpot pile.
Katie loves my makeup she plays with it everyday. I swear she wears it more than I do!
She wanted to do the cameras makeup
This is Paul's new favorite place. He plays with our food storage whenever I am in the kitchen cooking.
And when I am not. I was in the other room reading and Paul played with our canned food for about a 1/2 hour. It was pretty funny. I am just grateful he can entertain himself. Katie always wanted to be entertained.
