So I just thought that these were too cute not to put up. Katie and Paul love the bath tub. I have given up trying to take pictures while they are in the tub because I am scared that the camera will get ruined but I thought that these turned out quite nicely.

I've been Book Tagged
Alright here we go. I will do the book that I am currently reading.
Instructions:
1.Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages).
2. Turn to page 123.
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the 5th sentence and the next 3 on your blog.
5. Tag 3 people.
The History of Joseph Smith by His Mother
In this, the Lord permitted Martin Harris to take the manuscript home with him, on condition that he would exhibit it to none, save five individuals whom he had mentioned, and belonged to his own family.
Mr. Harris was delighted with this, and bound himself in a written covenant of the most solemn nature, that he would strictly comply with the injunctions which he had received. Which being done, he took the manuscript and went home.
Joseph did not suspect but that his friend would keep his faith, consequently, he gave himself no uneasiness with regard to the matter.
I will tag Tiffani, Liz, Melanie, Abby and Jandee.
Before I close the post though I am going to write my thoughts. We will see if they make any sense. These four sentences are quite compelling to me. Knowing the whole story and how Joseph went and asked the Lord three times before he was given a "yes" answer makes me wonder...if Martin had not lost the 116 pages would Joseph still had been chastised? Go ahead and write what you think. I think that he would have been. Not for the reason that eventually he was, but for the reason that Joseph was not willing to bend His will to the Lord's. In this life we are constantly striving to put off that natural man and become more like Christ. Even to "receive his image" so eventually to become all that he is. I find that the more that I try to be Tiffany (natural man) the less I am changing to become like Christ. So this story of the 116 pages for me lately has been one of wills rather than an issue of lost scripture. Well I have written enough I think. If you have any thoughts on the subject I would love to hear it.
Again I tag Tiffani, Liz, Melanie, Abby and Jandee.

Playing at Pump it Up
I heard about this place called Pump it up from a friend of ours so we decided to check it out. It turned out to be a whole lot of fun. I think I liked it more than Katie did. Anyway here are some pictures from our little adventure.
My two boys. It was fun to see them together. For a long time they just laid down in the basketball one and were playing together. I LOVE seeing Scott with the two kids. One of my favorite things is just watching Katie and Paul with Daddy.
Katie loved to crawl into one and then back out again. Never really playing on the toys just loving the doorway. I am amazed at what keeps kids occupied.
The basketball gym.
My favorite part...the obstacle course. Scott and I raced through it. He beat me...but I never got my rematch.
Katie doesn't quite understand the whole sit INSIDE the car. She has a bike at home and does the same thing. Hopefully she'll figure it out soon enough.
And in honor of the Jazz making the playoffs again and securing the Northwest Division, here is our tribute to them. Go Jazz!
Long Time No Post
I guess that I would say a lot has happened since the last time we posted. We were able to take a long weekend down to Utah and see all of the family that is there. It was a blast. A big thanks goes to Grandpa and Grandma Evans for letting us stay with them. And another goes to Joe and Codi for being such great dinner hosts. We wish we could see everyone more but the little trips will have to do for now.
Katie's aunt Emmalee has to where a helmet which she doesn't like too much, but Katie on the other hand loved wearing it.
Uncle Bert and Paul just having some fun.
As you can see Katie trusts Grandpa so much that he had her eating out of his hands...what Katie didn't know was that it was salt...funny joke Grandpa.
Paul's newest trick. I know you can't tell in the picture but he does the little inchworm. He will lift his head up really high and then plant his face in the blanket and put his bum in the air. After doing it over and over again he ends up going in circles.
Our little diva...and Paul!

Happy Easter
This Easter was a fun one for the Evans' family. Below we have a bunch of pictures to explain how the day went...it was full of fun that is for sure.
Grandma Evans got Katie a pretty dress for Easter and we had to put a picture of it up for all to see. At the moment Katie would not smile so this was the only decent picture we got.
Here is little...well not so little Paul in his church clothes. We took him to his two month appointment and he weighed 13 pounds 14 ounces. He has gained almost five pounds! He was 24 inches long as well. He is growing rapidly. We love him!

More cute pictures of Paul that I couldn't resist putting up. Oh, today we have to announce that Paul rolled from belly to back twice on the bed this morning. He is SO talented. I have to put the little disclaimer that he rolled towards me so the bed was slanted just a little bit, but he was working SO hard.

Katie participated in two Easter egg hunts. She had so much fun at the first one we did one at our place for just her and her friend Ella. After they found all of the eggs we let the two little girls fly a kite. It turned out to be quite the adventure.

As you can see we let both of the girls fly the kite all by themselves. Which wasn't a big deal because the kite only cost us a dollar. So if we lost it no big deal. Well I guess we asked for it because Katie let it fly!
l
When she let go of the kite it flew over the top of our building and the end got caught in the tree as you can see. What you can't see is the power lines on both sides of the kite. The string go t caught on the power lines on one side of the road and the kite itself would barely miss the power lines on the other side of the street. Well the kite flew by itself for about 15 minutes before the string broke and all was well again. Luckily nothing bad happened...but I have to say that the kite turned out to be well worth the dollar.

Random Fun...
These are just a few pictures of the kids while they were sick. I know they don't look it but trust me they were. I don't know if this is how it is with all kids but mine try so hard to be happy even though they are feeling crummy. We have gone through a huge box of tissues and loads and loads of laundry taking care of the sick ones. I am happy to report that they are both recovering and now we are just waiting for the house to recover...I have let the place slide over the last week and now it's time for a cleaning overhaul.

Scott taught Katie a New Trick
So the last two weeks have been pretty difficult because both of the kids have been sick. But we were able to get out and play a little bit and Scott taught Katie how to slide down the slide with her eyes closed. She is so funny because she doesn't know that she can close her eyes without touching them so she sticks both of her hands to her face and holds her eyelids down with her fingers. Enjoy!
