It's September 28th and Katie is one! I can't believe it has already been a full year! She has grown up so fast. She is just like a little kid to me. She was so fun when we gave her the chocolate cake. She loved it! We got her a little baseball tee type of thing and she loves to hit the ball. Grandma and Grandpa Bob got her a basketball hoop and she loves that. Look at me I am already making her a tom boy. Scott will see to it that it doesn't happen. Out of all of her toys she loves her little doll most so I am not too worried. Eating her Cake
Playing with her bat and ball
That cake sure was good!

Our Little Boy...coming soon
Here are the pictures that coincide with the post right below. I posted the comment and then Scott fixed the problem. I should really ask him to do things before I try and do them myself.

Photo Blues
So I have been hesitating putting up another post because I have no pictures to stick with it (they won't download from Scott's iphone) but a lot has happened in the last couple of weeks. Scott's brother got married and we made a trip down to Utah for the weekend. It was a blast. I think the funniest part was watching Katie dance at the reception. She was in this poofy white dress looking adorable and she would go about two feet from the speakers bend her knees just a little, lean forward with arms out and just bounce. For a long time she was the only one on the dance floor. So many people came up to me and said it was so crazy to see a baby that small dancing. Katie is pretty small for her age. Only 17 pounds and 28 inches at a year. Scott blames my side of the family. After coming back to Boise we finally got to have our ultrasound. We are having a little boy. He is just perfect. They showed us his brain, spine, stomach, limbs...the whole works really. We are really excited! Only three and a half months left! Other than that life keeps trutting along, we are making one more whirlwind trip down to Utah for only about 24 hours. Scott gets to baptize his twin!

An Exciting Weekend
For Labor day weekend my sister Andy and her family came to join us here in Boise. We had a lot of fun together. It really made Scott and I miss all of the family. It was a nice relaxing weekend.Katie mauling Ruth. It was a common occurance while they were in town. We got Katie a baby doll that she loves but she loved the real thing even more.
Andy and Eric just hanging out in our living room.
Katie enjoying the outdoors while we were eating Sunday dinner.
Katie in comparison to the California Condor. We got to see one and a picture of that is below. While Scott was taking pictures of it I guess it flew right up to the window. We ended up with a picture of just the wing. These birds are huge.

Singing in the Rain
Katie has discovered a new love. She was outside this weekend right after I got her dressed for the day and headed straight for the sprinklers. There is a sidewalk with grass on both sides so it was soaked all over the sidewalk. So Katie decided that she wanted to sit down right under about four different sprinklers in the middle of the sidewalk. She loves the water. She splashes in the puddles and everything.
