Baby Blessing Day

Hello all,

I was minding my own business playing Mahjong, a game my dad loves, and Tiffany kept nagging me to post something about Paul's blessing this last Sunday. Well, I wasn't in the mood to write this, so that is why I am telling you this, so if you find that I am not on my A game, then you know why. It isn't that I didn't want to write about it, its that I didn't want to write it right now, at 11:59 at night, when both kids are sick, and I have to be up for a cannery assignment at 8:00. But alas, I am writing.

Well, my family, all but Brian, Natalie, and Kyrie were able to come up for the weekend, and oh what a wonderful weekend it was. My dad got off work at 10:15, and my family picked him up from work sometime in the 11 o'clock hour, and they were on their way, to drive all night to Boise. Well, that plan lasted only a few hours when they fell asleep halfway through the trip, thankfully they stopped the car before they fell asleep. We spent Saturday over at the church playing games from basketball to football to hide and seek with Joseph (He mostly wanted to hide and didn't want to be seeked). All in all we spent nearly 6 hours at the church, fun time.
Isn't he cute? He is wearing the same Stellar one-piece jumpsuit I wore when I was blessed, pretty cool stuff if you ask me. The blessing was nice, it was just family in the circle with the Bishop. I asked the Bishop right before the blessing if he invited himself or if we needed to do it. He said a member of the Bishopric had to be in the circle and he was inviting himself. That wasn't so bad, he's a great guy.
After church we took some pictures, and here are just two of them. Here is the first grandson on the Evans side that will carry on the family name, pretty cool. Gooooooo birthright! Those guys look like they should be on TV. If you had to say who had better hair, who would you say? Keep in mind whose blog this is. If you look closely, my dad's hair is flat on top. That is because when he was little his younger brother dropped a Tonka truck on his head from the top bunk, and it made part of his head flat, and apparently he never recovered. As for me there is a perfect dome shape, not to mention the wavy texture of the hair. I guess I pretty much decided for you. :) p.s. I'm not vain.
And last, but certainly not least, our first family picture that can actually be called a family picture. Feel free to print this picture off and put it up on your fridge or in your wallet. Man, that is one cute family. I hope all of you are doing well. Love you all.
