THE MEMORY GAME!!!!

This was on my brother and his wife's blog. I (Scott) posted on this and thought that it might be a fun little thing. I remember sitting around with friends on random occasions remembering the good ol' days and how fun that was, so maybe this can facilitate that once again.

Note: Feel free to post for either me or Tiffany. We accept comments for both.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. Doesn't matter if you knew me a lot or a little, basically anything you can remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog! It's quite fun to see what people remember! If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume your playing the game and come leave one on yours!

On the Move

It's official, our little Paul is crawling! Not only that but he has also hit my FAVORITE milestone. He reaches for us. It was the greatest thing in the world when he did it the first time. I reached my hands out to pick him up and he did the same thing. It was and is amazing every time I go to pick him up.

Snake River Stampede

We went to the rodeo yesterday with Scott's cousin Josh and family. I absolutely loved it. It was just so fascinating to me. Scott said that he was a little bored some of the time, but mostly it was great just to get out and go somewhere together as a family. Katie loved the barrel racing. When the horse would come out she would start clapping and continue clapping until the horse left when she would promptly put both hands in the air and say uh-huh where'd it go. Then another horse would come and it would start all over again. Paul was more like dad. He fell asleep and stayed that way for most of the night. Here are a few pictures of the adventure.

I learned last night that the horses they used for bucking are bred to buck just like thoroughbreds are bred to run. Just a little food for thought.
Katie was enthralled most of the evening.
This act is called the one arm bandit. There is something wrong with one of his arms so he can't use it and the other arm he would use for the whip. So he rode his horse and steered with his legs. It was pretty cool. Then he corraled these two buffalo wherever he wanted them to go.
Paul enjoying his much needed nap. I was just shocked he stayed asleep, it was pretty loud.
At the end of the night, can you tell the kids are done?

Just Another Day

I thought I would just post a couple pictures of what we do almost every day. Paul and I hang out on a blanket reading while Katie enjoys the playground .

Happy Independence Day!

So this 4th of July was going to be a little hard for me because Scott had to work until around 11:30 that night. That left me home with the kids for one exciting holiday...boy was I wrong! It turned out that Scott was covering the festivities of the fourth so we were able to all be together during the fireworks. Not only that but the whole family was on the news. I wasn't too excited about it but it worked out okay I guess. It was really fun to be out and about and it was fun to get to watch Scott work as well. The kids were fun to see react to the fireworks as well. Katie was scared at first but took to them by the end of the night. On the other hand Paul was screaming because he was so tired and then the fireworks went off and he went into a little trance. It was a great night. Here are a few pictures.

Katie and Paul enjoying what they love most at the park...SWINGS
Watching daddy work
It's too bad you can't see this up close...there was cracker ALL over everywhere.
Katie and her fake picture smile. This is what her smile turns into when she says cheese for the camera.
Scott getting ready to interview a family on the news.

Well Happy Late 4th of July to one and all!
