I need some HELP!

As most of you know I am the kind of mom that waits to potty train my kids until they are about 2 and 1/2 and can talk and tell me exactly when the need to go and all of that sort of stuff.

BUT...Megan has really taken to the toilet as of late and has done her #2 business in the toilet for over a week now. (Every day without fail...kind of nice not changing poopy diapers) So the problem is, I have NO idea how to potty train a 17 month old. Anybody have any ideas? She has #2 down but I don't even know if she recognizes when she pees. But I am just not sure I want to give this up because she LOVES the toilet so much. I mean SCREAMS when I get her off. I think it's because she sees her two older siblings going all the time.

SO ANY AND ALL IDEAS, CRAZY or NOT ARE MORE THAN WELCOME! Thanks in advance.

My Ashley was 18 months old when she potty trained herself. I was potty training her older sister and Ashley jumped on the potty instead and went before her older sis. It was great to get them done the same day. I say let her keep doing it and if she regresses, then she is still young but take advantage of it because the hard part is over!!! Good luck!

I wish I did. Brogan is the opposite. He goes #1 when we remind him and sometimes tells us when he wants to go, but we are still trying to get the #2 down. You know more than I do. If I were you I would just keep the interest going. Or google some ideas.

Emma did the same thing at the same age. I tried teaching her to go #1 but it resulted in a lot of messes. I finally just let it drop and let her continue to go #2 in the potty. About 6 months later when she was 2 she decided it was time to go #1. Honestly, when they're that young there is no point in pushing it, she sounds like Emma, she'll just figure it out when she's ready.

Evie has loved the potty ever since she was like 18 months old. She still isn't two yet, so I haven't really pushed it, but we bought her pull-ups and called them big girl panties and that way she can go pee and poo in the potty when she wants, but if she has an accident its o.k. She likes it that way and she's been doing that for months now. So that's what we do. Its half potty training I guess. Its hard when they are so young.
